Overview of the Dynamic Progress Method Simulation Model

Introduction

The simulation model used on the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA) research project and in pmBLOX® will be explained in this chapter. The simulation model will be built up section by section to help the readers fully understand all the elements of the model and why they are important. Examples will be provided throughout the chapter. In the figures in this chapter, the black elements represent variables and interconnections that exist in most traditional project management (PM) tools. The light-gray elements are additional elements that are part of the DPM approach.
