Appendix E. Sample No-Fault Attendance Policy

“No fault” is something of a misnomer for an attendance policy but the term is meant to convey the idea that a prohibited number of absences and tardies will result in discipline even if the employee claims to be without fault for some or all of the occurrences. When you title the policy simply refer to it as the “Company Attendance Policy.” Use a form such as the one below to inform your employees of your company’s attendance policy.
