I HAVE FOUND that the following noise reduction techniques tend to work slightly better on images in which neither the subject nor the camera moved. The third technique in this section—combining multiple exposures to reduce noise—only works when you have multiple images of the exact same subject, so you need to plan ahead and have this in mind when you’re out shooting.
