Now the question is, “Have you ever thought of owning your own business?”
I went into the corporate world because I thought that was how it was supposed to be done. I didn’t know there was another option. I didn’t even realize that I was capable of so much more! It seemed so foreign to me. But now I wouldn’t have it any other way.
When you own your own business you control your own destiny, you control the work/life balance, and you take the risk but also reap the rewards. One of the best parts of owning my own business is the people. Now I can choose to only do business with people I consider friends. My work and my personal life have merged in the best way possible.
Many people who have come to me from corporate jobs have the itch. They know there is something more out there, and they have this itch that they don’t know how to scratch. They might have business ideas already, but they don’t know what will actually work because they have never done it before!
