You'll be surprised how often you'll be able to finish all your image editing tasks without opening Photoshop. You can export these gems out of ACR using the Save Image button in the ACR window. You have four formats to choose from: DNG, JPG, TIF, and PSD. If you want, you can give the exported images a new filename by taking advantage of the File Naming tool in the Save Options dialog box. From here you can use these exported images for Web pages, email attachments, prints, or anything else that strikes you. Those few pictures that you want to take from "great" to "perfect" can move into Photoshop for further adjustment. And that's exactly where we're headed in the next chapter.
