I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

My wife used to be a stage manager in the theatre, many years ago. On one of her first jobs as a humble ASM, she arrived a few days before the opening of a new play. She quietly kept her head down, kept out of everyone’s way, and did as she was told. A few days later, the set was put together and furnished for the first time. The director and designer and senior staff were deep in debate about a problem they had discovered. One side of the set looked far too empty.
