In his farewell address to the American people, President Harry Truman referred to his favorite motto, "The buck stops here," when he said, "The President—whoever he is—has to decide. He can't pass the buck to anybody. No one else can do the deciding for him. That's his job."
It's your job to ensure that the right decisions are made in your organization. But who makes them is another matter.
