It all begins in your mind, which filters every reality you experience and perceive. Whether you feel inwardly safe, inwardly confident, and empowered, or insecure, anxious, and powerless, it’s first and foremost a state of mind. This is the major premise of the discipline of martial skills: the warrior’s state of mind and his understanding and application of that state of mind.
