Performance Measurement
Generally, our performance-measurement system tells us whether we are on the way to reaching our strategic objectives. These will change from time to time to reflect changes in the world in which we operate. This means that our performance-measurement system should be in a state of constant review that will probably result in frequent changes to ensure it remains aligned with our strategic objectives. Failure to do this will cause employees to continue to reflect on things that are now less important while not focusing on what is newly important.
