I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Acknowledgments
This edition builds on the content provided for the first two editions by Dale Ensminger, and then the third edition, on which we worked together. This edition has been my project. Dale passed, age 93, in 2016. He was a true gentleman and a scholar who was involved in more than 1,000 ultrasound projects in his many years with Battelle. His spirit and decades of expertise remain present in this edition. It could never have been produced without his work in providing the first and second editions, and then our combined efforts to deliver the third edition. It was a privilege to work with him and it is my hope that this edition remains a fitting tribute to his memory.
