I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

1.1 INTRODUCTION
The study of ultrasonics involves the generation and detection of high-frequency acoustic and elastic waves, and the investigation of the effects of the propagation, the interactions with matter, and the applications which use this form of energy, to make measurements and, at higher powers, to change or process media. These mechanical waves are high-frequency sound waves that occur in a diversity of forms in solids, liquids, and gases, all at frequencies above the limits of human perception [1].
