So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 5. Character Properties and the Unicode Character Database
One of the things that makes Unicode unique is that it goes well beyond just assigning characters to numbers. The Unicode standard also provides a wealth of information on how the characters are to be used, both together and individually. It comprises not just the information in the Unicode book, but also the Unicode Character Database, a collection of files included on the CD that comes with the book.
