Active Server Pages (ASP)—A technology created by Microsoft that allows Web pages to include dynamic content, often pulled from a database.
Address bar—The location in a browser where you type in the URL for the Web site you want to visit.
Aero—A graphical user interface style for the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system.
AJAX—See Asynchronous JavaScript and XML.
ALT—An HTML tag that provides alternative text when a Web browser cannot display nontextual elements, which are typically images.
