I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
What Are Data Services?
WCF Data Services are one of the latest data access technologies created by Microsoft and was first introduced with .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1, whereas the .NET Framework 4 introduces some new features to the platform. Data Services are also known as Project Astoria, which is the code name for the data platform, and the development team is also known as Astoria Team. WCF Data Services are basically a framework for exposing data through networks such as the Internet or a local intranet and are based on the Windows Communication Foundation technology.
