Questo capitolo è dedicato a chi apre per la prima volta l'applicazione Power BI Desktop. Ti renderai subito conto che è molto simile ad altre applicazioni che conosci, come Microsoft Office Excel e PowerPoint . Ma ci sono alcune funzioni che funzionano in modo leggermente diverso.
Al momento della stesura di questo libro, Power BI Desktop è disponibile per Windows ma non per macOS. Se utilizzi macOS, puoi utilizzare una macchina virtuale (VM) per Power BI Desktop sul Mac. Il servizio Power BI non è proprio uguale a tutti gli altri. La parte di visualizzazione può essere la stessa, ma le query, la modellazione, DAX, ecc. non sono affatto uguali.
