By design, Terminal Server relies heavily on the network infrastructure of an organization to function effectively. The perceived stability of Terminal Server depends very much on the underlying stability and design of the network. A solid understanding of how to configure and deploy Terminal Server is only part of the criteria required for a successful implementation. If users are unable to maintain a reliable connection to the Terminal Server, the environment will be considered unusable from the perspective of both the users and the business.
