I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

It has been almost 10 years since I first set eyes on the installation of a Windows server–based computing operating system, and it has been true love (in the traditional geek-loves-technology kind of way) ever since. My introduction to Citrix WinFrame was very much a life-altering (or at least career-altering) experience, expanding my interests far beyond the simple life of application development to one of systems architecture and the design and implementation of server-based computing solutions. Even back then I saw the potential for the technology, not only in revolutionizing the way companies delivered applications to their employees but also in how IT staff supported that environment.
