Chapter 12. Licensing Service Installation and Configuration
Before You Begin
This chapter looks at the installation and configuration of the client access license (CAL) management services for both Terminal Server and MetaFrame Presentation Server. In order to run these products, a separate licensing service must be installed and configured for each product to enforce proper user access license compliance. A grace period is provided by each vendor (these durations are discussed shortly) before the corresponding licensing service must be “activated” and purchased licenses installed for client use.
