I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Please recognize that this has not been exhaustive. I didn’t touch on the role of an entrepreneur, a merchant at a clothing retailer, an actuary at an insurer, or countless other career paths. Consider this, instead, an introductory framework for how to navigate the various domains and an outline of the more typical career pipelines that appeal to ambitious people interested in business or finance. Take from it what you can and go on to do your own research in the areas that interest you or those that you believe I’ve left unexplored.
