In Chapter 4, you learned the concepts and processes related to customizing entities in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. In this chapter, we go deeper into entity customization and give a detailed explanation of forms, activities, and views.

Customizing Forms

You already know that when a user opens a record, Microsoft Dynamics CRM displays the form for that record’s entity. In addition, Microsoft Dynamics CRM displays a record’s form whenever a user clicks the Information link in the navigation pane, as shown in Figure 5-1.
