Part IIIWrap-Up
Performance goal: Innovate with teaming.
Teaming to innovate, as many of the examples in this part illustrate, is fueled by a commitment to create a better world in some small or large way. The size of the contribution depends on the kind of work you do and the kind of organization you work in. But no matter where you work, setting out to innovate is an act of hope.
Questions
- How can people effectively use different perspectives to produce innovation rather than unproductive conflict?
- Aiming high by setting a challenging goal is an important part of innovation. It means stretching beyond what seems initially feasible. Have you worked on such a goal in your career? Did it lead to innovation?
