DHTML activates Web pages by enabling the use of objects that can be manipulated by scripting code such as JavaScript or VBScript. DHTML is not fully supported by every browser in use today, but it will be in the future. (By then, another technology will probably replace DHTML; such is the way with these things.) Most Web sites can safely use it now because most current browsers support it, at least partially. DHTML enables you to create Web pages that are more active, adding to the user's browsing experience.
