Chapter 4. The Timeline Window

The Timeline window is where you will spend the most time in Adobe Premiere Pro. The Timeline window is the interface in which you can see your video clips and edit them together. I like to think of the Timeline window as a canvas or videotape, which slowly takes shape and definition as you work. For Premiere Pro, Adobe completely revamped not only the Timeline window’s design, but also its editing functionality. (See Figure 4.1.) Perhaps the biggest advancement is support for multiple sequences.
