I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Signing up to Bing mapping
If we want to use Bing Maps, we have to sign up to Bing Map Services. Navigate to https://www.bingmapsportal.com and click the Sign in button. This requires a Windows account, so if you don't have one, you will need to set one up. For now, we are going to assume that you have a Windows account available:
When we sign in, we need to create a key that our application will use to identify itself to the Bing Map Services so that they know who we are and can keep track of our map usage. From the My account option, select My Keys:
