It's important to note that the targetHeight and targetWidth parameters we pass to the loadSampledResource() method do not actually set the image size. If you run the application using the same size image we used (4,000 x 6,000), the sample size will be 32, resulting in a loaded image size of 187 x 125.

If your layout needs a specific size of image, either set the size in the layout file, or you can modify the image size directly using the Bitmap class.
