7. Enhanced Edits
These edit functions are intermediate commands you may use in addition to the basic edit functions.
Replace
A replace edit exchanges an entire Timeline clip for another clip.
1. Drag the new clip over the existing Timeline clip. When the clip highlights, release the mouse button.
2. In the shortcut menu that appears, choose the desired replace edit.
