10. Color Correction

One of the final stages of post-production is color correction (or grading), which provides the opportunity to fix color balance issues and possibly inject a creative look for the video. Final Cut Pro includes tools to perform color correction automatically or manually.

Color in the Video Inspector

In the Color panel, you can enable or disable the automated color enhancement applied to a clip, or use the Match Color feature to copy the color-graded “look” of another clip to the selected clip. This panel is also where you can perform primary and secondary color corrections.
