In this chapter, we refine some of the basic methods of camera calibration as introduced in Chapter 9. We then make ends meet - we introduce you to a domain which utilizes the technologies described throughout the book, Image-Guided Interventions (IGI) (T. Peters and K. Cleary 2008)1. As our goal is to provide you with both theoretical understanding and applied experience we provide a toy navigation system at minimal cost.
