For some of us, making the decision can be the scariest part of evaluating an issue. Fear often keeps us from making a decision or sometimes even a recommendation. In my work as a coach, I’ve seen people shy away from making decisions because they are too afraid of the consequences if their decision doesn’t work out. That’s the whole point of critical evaluation! We critically evaluate a situation so that we can have the confidence to make an informed decision.
