Angel arrives at his tutoring session ready to dive in. The seven-year-old has been making progress on his subtraction with regrouping and is excited to see how well he can perform on the day’s assignments. He spends some time initially in a small group setting, learning from a tutor with several other students near his level. After that, Angel moves on to computer games, honing his skills with practice. At the end of the day’s session, he completes a short assessment to measure his progress before going home.
