About the Author

Paul Laudicina is the CEO, chairman of the board, and managing partner at global management-consulting firm A.T. Kearney, and the founder and chairman of the firm’s Global Business Policy Council. He has more than 40 years of professional experience in various capacities in government, research institutions, businesses, and the United Nations and has worked in over 30 countries at the national, provincial, state, and community levels.

With more than 25 years of global consulting experience, Paul has worked with leaders of corporations and governments across a broad range of strategic, corporate, and public policy issues. He has also led scenario-based strategic planning and risk-management engagements for many of A.T. Kearney’s largest private- and public-sector clients.

In early 2006, the Partners of A.T. Kearney elected Paul to lead the firm following its management buy-out, and under his leadership the firm has strongly rebounded to retake its place among the world’s leading management consulting firms, returning to robust growth and retiring its debt within a year of regaining independence. Prior to the MBO, A.T. Kearney had been an EDS subsidiary for over a decade, and the relationship with the parent had become strained and this storied, pioneering consulting firm was in serious trouble.
