It’s natural to want to have comfort and routine in our lives. It
gives us a feeling of being in control and predictability and there
are definite times in our lives when retreating into our comfort
zone is our best move. After a long and demanding day it feels
good to snuggle under the duvet and watch an old and much
loved movie. The problem is that we end up trying to hold on to
our comfort zone when change is inevitable – or required – and
we resist new directions which are opening up for us. When we
do this we sabotage our potential for a fuller and happier life.
