So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The objective for adding an advanced sound system is to have the reproduced sound replicate to the nearest extent possible the sound you would hear if you were actually standing in the movie’s or program’s scene.
Think about how a car horn sounds when you are in a parking lot walking away from your car toward a store entry door. With normal hearing, your senses are first peaked by perceiving the initial attack of the horn’s sound and perhaps quickly recognizing the sound as that of a car horn because you have heard car horns in the past.
