I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Connecting API Gateway, Lambda, and DynamoDB
Now that we know the API Gateway integration with the Lambda function works, we will deploy it and get the URL. The architecture is shown in the following diagram:
The workings of this architecture is as follows:
- Sign in to the AWS Management Console and open the API Gateway console at https://console.aws.amazon.com/apigateway/.
- In the Amazon API Gateway navigation pane, choose APIs and metrics.
- Select Resources under metrics and /Vists/{resourceId}, and choose Deploy API from the Actions drop-down menu.
