So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Abstract
This chapter explores the real-life challenges and successes with business continuity and disaster recovery (BC/DR) planning by a mid-sized U.S. electric and gas utility provider from 2005 to 2012. Concepts include the benefits of integrating BC/DR planning activities into IT Governance and daily IT operational processes to achieve measurable results, best practices for risk mitigation and recovery strategies, and best practices for BC/DR testing and continuous process improvement.
