When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Getting ready
Start off by creating a regular console application in Visual Studio 2017. Simply call the project you create cookbook. Before I can jump into using Tuples in C# 7.0, I need to add in a NuGet package. Bear in mind that I am using the release candidate of Visual Studio. This process might change between now and the final release of the product.
- To do this, head on over to Tools, NuGet Package Manager and then, click on Manage NuGet Packages for Solution....
- Select the Browse tab and type in ValueTuple in the search box. The System.ValueTuple by Microsoft NuGet package should be displayed. Select the cookbook project under ...
