I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
OSD's can be deployed with the BlueStore backend via ceph-ansible and I encourage you to deploy a second Ceph cluster or an OSD node in your existing cluster with the BlueStore backend and compare the benchmark tests described earlier in this chapter on the Ceph cluster or OSD node backed by BlueStore, you will see a significant improvement on rados bench testing!
To install ceph-node4 as an OSD node with BlueStore backend via ceph-ansible, you can do the following:
- Add ceph-node4 to the /etc/ansible/hosts file under [osds]:
