I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
Let's review how to configure FUSE client for access to the Ceph cluster and mounting Ceph FS:
- Validate that the Ceph FUSE package is installed on the machine client-node1 (Ansible installs this as part of the client packages):
# rpm -qa |grep -i ceph-fuse
- Validate that the Ceph FS keyring file is created client-node1 in /etc/ceph/ceph.client.cephfs.keyring, with the following contents (note your key will be different from the example):
- Mount Ceph FS using the FUSE client:
# ceph-fuse --keyring /etc/ceph/ceph.client.cephfs.keyring --name client.cephfs -m ceph-node1:6789 /mnt/cephfs
- To mount Ceph FS at OS boot, add ...
