IBM Tivoli Monitoring V6.1 contains an extensive trace facility that can provide
helpful information about the state of the components. There are several types of
logs created by IBM Tivoli Monitoring V6.1, with the principal log type being the
reliability, availability, and serviceability (RAS). RAS logs are in the English
language and are available on the Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server, Tivoli
Enterprise Portal Server, and monitoring agents. Other logs include installation,
