Part III
Valuations on the Price Tags of Business
In this part . . .
A lot of attention in finance is paid to figuring out what things are worth, and why not? Unless you can decide the value of something, you have no idea whether it’s a good investment. You probably feel cheated when you find out you’ve overpaid for something at a store — well, how about when you overpay for huge investments that will influence your entire financial well-being? You don’t even need to overpay for something yourself. Any corporation that can’t effectively estimate the value of its investments and expenditures is doomed to financial failure. Doomed!
In Part III, I show you how to avoid doom by providing you with chapters on the valuation of capital, stocks, bonds, and derivatives.
