Para la documentación de JavaScript, CSS y HTML, la Red de Desarrolladores de Mozilla (MDN ) no tiene igual. Si necesito documentación sobre JavaScript, busco directamente en MDN o añado "mdn" a mi consulta de búsqueda. De lo contrario, inevitablemente, w3schools aparece en la búsqueda. Quienquiera que gestione el SEO de w3schools es un genio, pero recomiendo evitar este sitio: La documentación es a menudo muy deficiente.
Mientras que MDN es una gran referencia HTML, si eres nuevo en HTML5 (o incluso si no lo eres), deberías leer Dive Into HTML5 de Mark Pilgrim.
