Designers need to learn about the core value proposition of any IoT device they are planning to design. Customers need not bother about the IoT device connectivity or its on-board computing, etc. The core value proposition of any IoT device should be straightforward. The user should be able to easily know about the utility value of the IoT device, its environment—whether it is meant for outdoor or indoor operations, its reliability, its life span, interoperability, and most importantly what are the focused results that it can deliver during its operational lifetime.
