The join operator

Combining two Observables based on a given window can be done by calling one of the following methods:

• join: Joins the items emitted by two Observables based on overlapping durations using an aggregation function
• groupJoin: Joins the items emitted by two Observables into groups based on overlapping durations using an aggregation function

The following example uses join to combine two Observables, one firing every 100 ms, the other every 160 ms and taking values from the first every 55 ms and from the second every 85 ms:
