I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 9. Testing Time
In some situations, you need to collect timing data. Sometimes this results from a need to compare against benchmarks or to verify that performance objectives have been met. These are measurements taken against the system. Other times, you need to take measurements against the people who use your system. This might result from users’ feedback of poor performance in your system. In either case, collecting reliable and valid data is critical. This chapter talks about various approaches to collecting data for actual duration, perceived duration, and user tolerance.
