The Linux operating system accounts for 90 percent of all servers provisioned in the cloud. Its dominance and popularity can be attributed to its cost, reliability, open-source nature, and large community support. With the majority of global websites running Linux, its security becomes of the utmost importance. Proactively securing Linux becomes especially critical in order to protect against expanding cybersecurity threats.
