So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

As mentioned earlier, the scratch image doesn't add any additional layer to the image. The docker image history command comes in handy here to list the layers in the image, as shown in the following screenshot:
As we can see, there is no additional layer for the base image scratch.
