So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How it works...
When we build a Docker image, the Docker engine preserves the build instruction in the image metadata. Later, the docker image history command recursively gathers these build instruction from the prescribed image to the base image and presents it in a nice format.
