I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
Follow these steps:
- Start the Docker events logging with the following command:
$ docker events
- From the other terminal, do some container/image-related operations and you will see a result similar to the following screenshot on the first terminal:
After the events collection started, I created a container to just write a message to the console. As we can see from the preceding screenshot, a container was created, started, and died.
