How fortunate I feel not only to have lived my dream of building a billion‐dollar business, but now to be able to add the title of author to the list of those realized dreams. Much like with my company, I didn't reach this milestone alone, so I want to extend my eternal thanks.

First, thank you so much to my husband, Mike—your encouragement and patience over the last 35 years have been such a blessing. You're the best sounding board and an endless source of big ideas. Together we are better, and I can never thank you enough.

For my sons, Jay and Zack—thank you for giving me the best job I've ever had, which is being your mother. I continually learn so much from you both and I couldn't be prouder of the men you've become.

For my parents, Ev and Judy—you made me who I am today. Your collective boundless enthusiasm, creativity, and lust for life taught me that the world was big and beautiful.
