So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

4.1 INTRODUCTION
A scale can be defined as a ratio of the reduction or enlargement on a map or a drawing. Physically, scales are usually strips made of cardboard, plastic, steel or other such material, with markings that give lengths in a fixed ratio of reduction or enlargement.
